White Day

This is another long overdue post.
March 14, White day! I had a lot of work task on my mind so I didn't remember the significance of that day 'till the time we went out to buy lunch. Then it hit me, White Day!
I did wonder if I would receive something back for the chocolates I gave during Valentines Day.
But then, it was still ok if I didn't since my colleagues always helped me in all my problems at work and for me that gesture alone deserves more than chocolates.

Towards the end of the work day, Hirata-san surprised me with a paper bag. Ohh...how sweet, they remembered! :) It's always a pleasure to receive gifts, it's one of the simple things in life that I'll never get tired of. Thank you guys! You really made my day! :)

Umeda Sky Building

After doing my laundry last Saturday (March 3) I headed out to Umeda to meet Idel and Mars. Idel invited us to eat at Baskin and Robbins in Umeda since there's a new ice cream flavor out. But I got there late and she was already done eating.

Anyway, I thought that ice cream wouldn't be enough for me since I haven't eaten anything since lunch time so I asked if we could go to a Ramen Shop instead. After the big meal we headed out to the Umeda Sky Building.

The building is composed of two main towers which are connected with each other by an observatory on the 39th floor.

When we got to the top the air was cold but the view near the river was spectacular!
