Trip to Cagayan Part III

October 9, 2005 the day for canopy walking, ziplining, and white water rafting. (actually the water wasn't so clear, it should have been been called brown water rafting! =P)
Early morning after breakfast at Jollibee Divisoria, we rode out around 9:00. There was a side trip in Macahambus Adventure Park before the rafting. So we went canopy walking and ziplining there but we couldn't do rapelling because it wasn't available at that time. =( That was one huge disappointment. Next time, I will definitely do rapelling. Anyway, despite the lack of rapelling activity, Macahambus still rocks!

After the side trip we went white water rafting. We went through approximately 14 rapids in 3 hours. We were the liveliest bunch there. The others were not as unruly =P. hehehehe. The scenery sorrounding the river was magnificent. Hands down, the adventure was worth every penny! =)

Trip to Cagayan Part II

Saturday morning October 8, 2005 I was knocked out. I couldn't sleep much 'cause the guy beside me in the ship was snoring a little too loudly. =( When we got to "Chicks" house, (Chicks is Maria Stephanie Miguela Sarabeth, whew!) we started talking and ended up telling each other stories instead of sleeping. The guys were able to rest despite the noise we were making. =P
In the afternoon after eating at P. Joes in SM we got busy preparing for the wedding of our supervisor, Mr. Mark.

Of course, after the wedding ceremony we went to the wedding reception.
This was taken before the reception ceremony started in the Harbor City Hotel:

During the reception, we had some picture taking sessions in our table together with the some officemates.

Trip to Cagayan Part I

The night of October 7, 2005, I set out for the pier heading towards Cagayan de Oro City. I got my bags up to SuperFerry 17. This is only my second time riding a ship. We went sight seeing in it. We played some cards near the playhouse with "hand marking" consequence for losers. Yeah, I lost some, lost a lot of times really. =P Can you guess which hand's mine? =)

We still couldn't sleep after, so we decided to get coffee. But then due to certain circumstances we ended up drinking hot chocolate (MILO) instead. The only option for a venue was the cafeteria/disco. I've never tried drinking MILO in a disco place before. =P Grabeh!

After cosuming the MILO, we went dancing a little, or should I say "I" went dancing a little. My companions were not as dancerous. =P ( Covering your head while stepping your right then left leg is not really dancing to me. ) They were playing a song from the "You Got Served" movie. This is one of my favorite dance movie. I have watched it for quite a number of times already. =) I officially became a frustrated hip hop/bone break dancer because of that movie. =P

After the "disco" escapade we rested in the lobby of the ship. It was spacious and nice. We were the only people there so we took some timed shots.

My First Visit to my nephew Raziel Jet Garcia

It was the end of one tiring work week. I decided to go home and visit my nephew who is by this time 2 weeks young. When I saw him, I was fearful of how fragile and small he was. He's quite cute though. He has the same features as Kwon Sang Woo, the male lead of "Stairway to Heaven". hehehehe =)
I didn't get to see my other nephew, the son of my elder brother when he was still little since they live far from our house. And I didn't go home that much during those times.

He is a little hairy fellow. I don't know how light he weighs but in my thoughs, he maybe underweight. I was afraid to carry him because he looked fragile so I just took pictures of him and
decided that looking and staring would be enough.
Here are some of the pictures I took:

My Brother's Wedding

July 3, 2004. My younger brother Bonbons tied the knot.
It was a great sunny day. The ceremony was held in Punta Princesa Church. My youngest brother was the Bible bearer. I'm one of the secondary sponsors, for the cord in particular. The rest of my brothers have no significant role. =P Two of them were not in the ceremony itself. They have situations they couldn't get out of. They arrived during the reception though.
My mother arrived late so the only parent sitting on our side was my father. He and my mother have been separated for quite a while now. I think my my mother intended to be late so she wouldn't sit beside my father. =P
Many people attended the wedding. The motif was orange. Although I wore a violet blouse, not matching the motif. I don't have many a dress to wear for these kinds of gathering so forgive me. Remon, Bonbon's college friend was there, he wad delayed though.
After the ceremony, we had a reception at Royal Concourse.
During the reception, some friends arrived. My brothers arrived as well as some of my brother's friends.

Here are some pics from the wedding ceremony and reception:
